Ed lives in a haunted, crumbling city, one that yields more and more everyday to the primal chaos around it. The streets around his apartment, for example, are flooded, and teeming with gators. Yet despite all this, Ed's life remains somewhat pedestrian, and even boring, until one day when his steady routine is shattered by an unfortunate chain of events that plunges Ed into a harrowing downward spiral. He falls further and further into the dark and maddening depths of the city and eventually is face to face with the Devil himself. In the aftermath, his soul is damned, so the undead begin to stir, having taken notice of him. There's also a price on his head, which draws the bounty hunters, with their guns ablazing.
